Join us on our farm where we have six outdoor courts and space for 25 guests. It’s the perfect place to enjoy nature and learn a completely new sport. Young people (10 years +) are welcome to stay from two days up to a week. Everyone needs to bring their own rackets, clothes, etc. as only balls are available to buy.
We offer tennis courses for players at all levels in one of the most interesting cities in the country. Tennis sessions run from 9 a.m-12.30 p.m. You can join a group or have one-to-one instruction. After lunch each day we’ll take you to some wonderful places in this amazing city. Our outdoor courts have lights so you can play again in the evenings.
Never played tennis before? Want to find out if you like it before you buy an expensive tennis racket? Why not come to our indoor tennis centre for a weekend of fun activities in the mornings and tennis games in the afternoon? Fifty places are available and all equipment is provided.
Come to us for year-round tennis courses at our modern tennis school near the town centre. Our indoor courts allow us to offer tennis coaching to all levels and age groups whatever the weather. Classes are in groups of 15 and courses run from seven to ten days. Please bring your own rackets and tennis clothes.
Our summer courses are for young tennis players who are already very skilled and are thinking of playing professionally. We have a number of experts on our staff who will give advice and coaching throughout the week. This is a serious course for people who want to play from morning to night!
Our group courses are for all ages and are designed to help people who can already play strengthen their tennis skills. We have highly-qualified coaches on hand to give you tips and we’ll even video your playing. Our 12 outdoor courts are just five minutes from Fingle beach and classes can be booked between 8.30 a.m -9p.m each day.

During the baking hot months of the summer holidays my mother and I used to escape to one of the scattered lakes north of Prince Albert. In its magic surroundings we used to spend the long summer days in the open air, swimming and canoeing or just lying dreaming in the sun. In the evening the lake was always a bright, luminous grey after the unbelievable sunset colors had faded.
The last summer before we returned to England was particularly enchanted. For one thing, I was in love for the first time. No one will ever convince me that one cannot be in love at fifteen. I loved then as never since, with all my heart and without doubts or reservations or pretence.
My boyfriend Don worked in Saskatoon, but the lake was »his place» – the strange and beautiful wilderness drew him with an obsessive urgency, so I suspected it was not to see me that he got on his motor-cycle as many Fridays as he possibly could, and drove three hundred-odd miles along the pitted prairie roads to spend the weekends at our place.
Sometimes he couldn’t come, and the joy would go out of everything until Monday, when I could start looking forward to Friday again. He could never let us know in advance, as we were too far from civilization to have a phone or even a telegraph service. Three hundred miles in those conditions is quite a journey. Besides, Don was hard up, and sometimes worked overtime at weekends.
One Friday night a storm broke out. I lay in bed and listened to the thunder and the rain beating on the roof. Once I got up and stood looking out over the treetops, shivering. I tried not to expect Don that night hoping he would have enough sense to wait until the storm ended. Yet in my frightened thoughts I couldn’t help imagining Don fighting the storm. His motorbike, which had always looked to me so heavy and solid, seemed in my thoughts frail enough to be blown onto its side by the first gust that struck it. I thought of Don pinned under it, his face pressed into the mud.
I crawled back into bed, trying to close my throat against the tears. But when my mother, prompted by the deep sympathy and understanding between us, came in to me, she kissed my cheek and found it wet.
«Don’t get upset, Jane,» she said softly. »He may still come.»
When she had tucked me in and gone, I lay thinking about Don, about the danger of the roads. You couldn’t ride or walk along them safely after heavy rain; your feet would slip from under you. The roads in Northern Canada are not like the friendly well-populated English ones, where there are always farmhouses within walking distance and cars driving along them day and night.
It was hours later, that I suddenly realized the sound of the roaring engine were real. The storm was dying.

I lived in Port Stewart, one of the small villages on the coast. I rented a small room at the top of an old damp two-storey Victorian terrace house. The house was the last one in the terrace and from its window I could look out on the grey, ever-restless ocean.

You know that a dog is a man’s best friend. The dog is also man’s oldest friend.
More than ten thousand years ago, dogs didn’t live with people. They were wild.
Now dogs live with people and do many good things for them. Dogs can be “eyes” for people. There was a dog, Bruno, who 40 people in the mountains. Dogs help geologists to find metals. They help police officers to catch criminals.
If you have a dog, you know how clever dogs are. You can teach your dog to do many tricks: to bring things to you, to carry your bag when you do shopping, to help you with your school-bag when you come home from school.
Dogs usually like to swim and you can teach your dog to swim. But you must remember that some dogs are afraid of water.
Where do you leave your dog, when you go on holiday? Leave him in good hands: with a neighbour or a family friend. Take your dog to these people before you go away. Sit down and talk to them. Show your dog that they are your friends and he will like them.
Take care of your dog; never let him run wild in the street. If you are good to your dog, he will be your real friend.

Всероссийская олимпиада школьников по физической культуре, 2015/2016
Школьный этап. 9-11 классы
Конкурсное задание заключается в выполнении акробатической комбинации, имеющей строго обязательный характер. Для выполнения упражнения участнику предоставляется одна попытка.
Девушки могут быть одеты в купальники, комбинезоны или футболки с короткими брюками («лосинами»), юноши -в гимнастические майки, ширина лямок которых не превышает 4 см., трико, спортивные шорты с открытыми коленями. Майки не должны быть одеты поверх шорт или трико. Упражнение может выполняться в носках, чешках или босиком. Использование украшений не допускается. Нарушение требований к спортивной форме наказывается сбавкой 0,5 балла.
После вызова у участника есть 20 секунд, чтобы начать выполнение упражнения. Упражнение, выполненное без вызова, не оценивается.
Оценка действий участника начинается с момента принятия исходного положения на акробатической дорожке и заканчивается фиксацией основной стойки после его окончания. Сигналом готовности участника к началу выступления служит поднятая вверх правая рука.
Оказанная при выполнении упражнения поддержка и явная помощь наказывается соответствующими сбавками.
Учителям и судьям не разрешается разговаривать или давать указания гимнастам во время выполнения ими упражнения.
Все участники одной смены должны находиться в специально отведенном для них месте. Их поведение не должно мешать другим участникам.
Перед началом выступлений участникам предоставляется разминка из расчёта не более 30 секунд на одного участника. Упражнение должно иметь четко выраженное начало и окончание, выполняться слитно без неоправданных пауз по прямой линии со сменой направления. Фиксация статических элементов — 3 секунды.
Выступление участника не может быть начато повторно, за исключением случаев, вызванных непредвиденными обстоятельствами, к которым относятся:
- поломка гимнастического оборудования, произошедшая в процессе выступления;
- неполадки в работе общего оборудования — освещение, задымление помещения и т.п.;
- появление на гимнастическом оборудовании или в непосредственной близости от него посторонних объектов, создающих травмоопасную ситуацию.
При возникновении указанных выше ситуаций, участник должен немедленно прекратить выступление. Если выступление будет завершено, оно будет оценено.
Только арбитр имеет право разрешить повторное выполнение упражнения. В этом случае, участник выполняет свое упражнение сначала, после выступления всех участников данной смены.
Если выступление прервано по вине участника, повторное выполнение упражнения не разрешается.
Судьи оценивают качество выполнения упражнения в сравнении с идеально возможным вариантом исполнения, учитывая заранее оговоренные специальные требования к трудности и технике исполнения отдельных элементов. Ошибки исполнения могут быть: мелкими, средними и грубыми. Выявление каждой из них приводит к снижению оценки элемента соответственно на 0,1;0,2 — 0,3; 0,5 балла. Ошибка невыполнения элемента стоимость элемента, падение – 1,0 балл
Если участник не сумел выполнить какой-либо элемент (соединение) или заменил его другим, его оценка снижается на стоимость невыполненного элемента (соединения).
Максимально возможная окончательная оценка — 10,0 баллов.
Упражнение выполняется на акробатической дорожке или дорожке из полужёстких гимнастических матов не менее 6 метров в длину и 1,5 метра в ширину. Вокруг акробатической дорожки должна иметься зона безопасности шириной не менее 1 метра, полностью свободная от посторонних предметов.

Юноши 9-11 классы
Футбол (Юноши 9-10-11 класс)
На середине лицевой линии игрового поля устанавливаются ворота (3 х 2 м). На расстоянии 6м от линии ворот располагается зона для удара по воротам (шириной 1 м). В 2 м вправо и влево от боковых стоек ворот на расстоянии 7м устанавливается первая пара фишек, на расстоянии 10м устанавливаются 3 фишки и 13м от линии ворот располагаются три фишки (всего 8 фишек). На лицевой линии в 2 м вправо и в 2 м влево устанавливается, мячи и на расстоянии 15м устанавливаются один мяч напротив фишки №8. справа на площадке устанавливается контрольная стойка (Финиш).
По сигналу участник стартует справой от ворот стороны с лицевой линии, выполняя ведения мяча, участник обводит первую фишку слева, вторую справа и третью слева и движется в зону удара, для атаки ворот, слева от первой фишки. Находясь в зоне для удара, участник выполняет удар по воротам низом левой ногой.
Выполнив удар, участник двигается ко второму мячу, находящемуся на лицевой линии напротив фишки №8, выполняя ведения мяча, участник обводит восьмую фишку слева, седьмую справа и движется в зону удара, для атаки ворот. Находясь в зоне для удара, участник выполняет удар по воротам любой ногой верхом.
Выполнив удар, участник двигается ко второму мячу, находящемуся на лицевой линии слева в 2 метрах от ворот, выполняя ведения мяча, участник обводит четвертую фишку справа, пятую слева и шестую справа и движется в зону удара, для атаки ворот, справа от четвертой фишки. Находясь в зоне для удара, участник выполняет удар по воротам низом правой ногой. Выполнив удар, участник финиширует возле правой контрольной стойки.
Система оценивания. Штрафное время начисляется за следующие ошибки:
- Не обегание фишки с мячом – плюс 10 сек;
- Нанесение удара по мячу вне зоны удара – плюс 5 сек;
- Удар по мячу не той ногой — плюс 5 сек;
- Непопадание по воротам – плюс 15 сек;
- Удар по воротам низом – плюс 5 сек.
- Касание фишки (мячом, ногой) — плюс 3 сек
Баскетбол (Девушки 9-10-11 класс)
Участник находится на пересечении лицевой и боковой линии лицом к фишке №1. По сигналу конкурсант движется к фишке №1 и обводит ее с левой стороны, дальше ведет мяч к фишке № 2 и обводит ее с правой стороны, далее ведет мяч к фишке №3 и обводит ее с левой стороны. Далее выполняет обводку центрального круга с правой стороны против часовой стрелки. После обводки ведет мяч к штрафной линии к фишке №7 и выполняет один штрафной бросок в кольцо, далее бежит ко 2 мячу, берет мяч движется к фишке №4 и обводит ее с правой стороны, дальше ведет мяч к фишке № 5 и обводит ее с левой стороны, далее ведет мяч к фишке №6 и обводит ее с правой стороны. Далее выполняет обводку центрального круга с левой стороны почасовой стрелки. После прохождения круга движется к кольцу и выполняет бросок в корзину после двух шагов из под щита.
Система оценивания. Фиксируется время преодоления дистанции и точность броска. Остановка секундомера осуществляется в момент касания мячом площадки после броска в корзину после двух шагов из-под щита. В случае непопадания в корзину после двух шагов участник имеет право выполнить две дополнительные попытки. Если участник уходит с площадки, не выполнив дополнительные попытки, то к его времени выполнения задания прибавляется по 10 сек. за каждый не совершенный бросок. Если участник из 3 бросков, совершенных из-под щита, не попал ни разу в кольцо, он наказывается штрафом – 7 секунд. Если участник, не попал штрафной бросок к его времени прибавляется 4 сек. За каждое нарушение правил в технике ведения мяча (пробежка, пронос мяча, двойное ведение, неправильная смена рук, касание фишек-ориентиров) участнику к его фактическому времени прибавляется за каждое нарушение по 1 секунде. За необбегание центрального круга добавляется 15 сек. штрафного времени, за смену направления движения 10 секунд. Касание центрального круга мячом или любой другой частью тела (за каждое касание по 2 сек.) За необбегание. фишки и перемещение неуказанным способом добавляется по 5 штрафных секунды.
Девушки, Юноши 9-11 классы
1.Челночный бег 4х9м. оббегая набивной мяч.
Фиксируется время до 0,01сек.
